Baby Addy

One of Addy's "Get Well" gifts came all the way from a special nana in North Carolina. This has to be her most favorite baby doll she has ever received. Addy even named her baby "Baby Addy". It came with a doctor kit so that she could make her all better....I get such a big kick out of watching her play doctor! What an imagination this girl has. I am 110% sure that she will make an amazing mommy one day. I have never seen a 2 year old so gentle and loving with a baby doll. I have so much fun hiding in Addy's doorway, just listening to her interact and making "Baby Addy" all better! This really puts a smile in my heart!

A few updates

Random updates.

Who wants to give me a shopping spree? I have now gained about 13 lbs and desperately need some new pants and tops. This is a great problem to have...right? Especially when you are purposely trying to gain weight. Haha. As much as I love shopping, this has now become a stressful event for me. Clothes are expensive, especially when you are starting over! I have not had many photo shoots lately, mostly because I have been focusing on my health, and now I am low on funds. I guess I need to get my muffin-top to work! Until then, my sweatpants are my new best friends!
Don't get me wrong. I am beyond thrilled that I have been healthier lately! I know it has helped improve my lung function.

Tomorrow Addy is having surgery. Her poor little tonsils are coming out and new tubes are going in her ears. The thought of her tiny, precious little body being in pain makes me sick to my stomach. If I could only do it for her. It was breaking my heart tonight at dinner...watching her giggle and laugh, having no clue that tomorrow she is not going to be so happy. The innocence of a child.

Caleb has not had school all week. The ice storm that hit Ohio has kept us indoors for the past few days. I think we are going stir-crazy. I could use a fun night out! And my idea of a night out does not include Addy and I staying at the hospital over the next few nights. I am pretty sure he will have school tomorrow. I know he is ready to go back. He misses his friends. And he will have a blast spending the next few nights with grandparents!

I have a few prayer requests this week for my family and friends who pray for me.

1. Please pray for Addy at 10am tomorrow. (That is when her surgery starts)
2. Please keep my grandma in North Carolina in your prayers. She is having a heart procedure on Friday.
3. Please keep my grandpa in your prayers as well. He is also having a heart procedure tomorrow.
3. Please pray for my husband, Ross. He has some stressful events coming up at work over the next few weeks.

I will try to update everyone tomorrow on how things go! Have a great, warm weekend!
